A Story That Defies the Odds
After being revived at birth by a swig of bourbon, a Kentucky colt named Never Say Die becomes a part of John Bell III’s family before shipping out to England to conquer the most prestigious horse race in the world, the 1954 Epsom Derby. With the spirit of Kentucky coursing through his veins, Never Say Die faces the Queen of England and British racing elites who will stop at nothing to prevent the rise of Kentucky’s ultimate dominance in the sport of kings. Along the way, a love story emerges, an heir to the Singer Sewing Machine fortune flips the script, and a long-shot bet on the dark horse leads to the formation of the world’s most renowned rock and roll band: The Beatles.

"A Victorian house...
a racehorse... jewelry... a rock band. Who would have thought that a bet placed on a racehorse would influence the course of popular music and the sport of thoroughbred racing? Well, it’s true. I was there."

Original Drummer for The Beatles

A NOTE FROM THE PRODUCER
I knew the minute I finished reading Never Say Die for the first time that it needed to be adapted for the big screen. I’ve spent more than five years researching, writing, and developing this feature film project—and each minute has been a labor of love. Along the way, I lost my writing partner, met some incredible people, and fell in love with the characters who make this incredible true story so special. This journey has changed my life, and I am proud to now share it with the world.
